Published by AsianPrivateBanker – 16th February 2015

Having left the bank momentarily, Bank of Singapore’s former head of fund solutions returns.

Chandrima Das rejoins Bank of Singapore after leaving late last year. The 17-year veteran wealth and asset management professional is believed to be returning  in similar capacity as the Singapore private bank’s head of fund solutions. In this role, das is believed to reporting into Hou Wey Fook, managing director and chief investment officer – himself, too, a seasoned professional in fund management having spent 26 years in the field.

When contacted, the bank could not be reached for a comment.

Prior to joining Bank of Singapore I 2012, Das held multiple senior roles in the industry including most recently, CEO of ING invest Management, Asia Pacific. Previously, she has also worked with the likes of Prudential Asset Management, M&G and Standard Chartered.

As of 2013-end, Bank of Singapore had US$46 billion in assets under management, a 7% year-on-year increase.
