When contacted, a spokesperson from the bank confirmed the departure.

Prior to this position, Riddergard held various roles at the Swiss major, including head of strategy and business development and head of pricing management for the Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong and Singapore. Before his decade-long career with UBS Wealth Management, Riddergard worked with Winterthur Life, a subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group until it was acquired by AXA in 2006 as the regional business development officer for two years in Hong Kong and at Mc Kinsey as their engagement manager based in Stockholm, Sweden and Hong Kong for five years.

UBS Wealth Management topped both of Asia Private Banker’s assets under management (AUM) and RM (Relationship manager) headcount league tables for 2013 standing at US$245 billion and 1032 RM’s respectively.
