Pictet loses IAM head for Asia , splits role

Pictet’s head of independent asset managers has left the bank after three years. The role will now be split to cover Singapore and Hong Kong individually.

Sylvain Gysler has left Pictet, stepping down from his role as the bank’s head of independent asset managers in Singapore.

Caroline Schaedler, previously a relationship manager in Gysler’s team takes over as head of Pictet asset services – independent asset managers, Singapore. Kenneth Chan is now head of Pictet asset services – independent asset managers, Hong Kong.

When contacted, a spokesperson from the bank confirmed the departures and promotions.

Pictet Wealth Management’s relationship manager headcount increased in 2014 to 50, a 32% year on year increase, according to this publication’s latest league table.
