Credit Suisse Asia Pacific CIO resigns

Published by AsianPrivateBanker – 16 April 2015

Credit Suisse is expected to announce a successor for its outgoing CIO for private banking and wealth management in Asia Pacific.

Fan Cheuk Wan has resigned from her role as chief investment officer “to pursue new opportunities,” says a person in the know who did not specify whether these opportunities were with another private bank.

Fan will continue to assume her role as CIO Asia Pacific until end of June and the bank is expected to announce a successor in due course.

Before joining Credit Suisse in 2006, Fan spent six years at ABN AMRO Bank as assistant director China Equity Research before becoming head of China Research.

Credit Suisse’s assets under management were US$154.0 billion at the end of 2014, according to this publication’s AUM LeagueTable.
