Standard Chartered Private Bank loses Indonesia market head

A career banker and market head for Indonesia has resigned from Standard Chartered Private Bank.

Torsten Linke, who had been with the bank since May 2009, is believed to be leaving to continue his private banking elsewhere. Linke is based in Singapore.

Linke previously worked a Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management in a number of roles and locations, including Frankfurt, London and Singapore, as team head for the Indian Sub-Continent, market head for Indonesia, and head of strategy and business development.

Standard Chartered Private Bank had assets under management in Asia of US$45.0 billion at end-2014, according to this publication’s 2014 AUM League Tables.
