Anuj Khanna to Lead ABN Amro Private Banking in Southeast Asia

The former CEO of Pictet in Asia has been named as the new head of Private Banking Southeast at ABN Amro’s Singapore unit. He will take on the role with immediate effect.

ABN Amro Private Banking Asia & Middle East announced the appointment, Anuj Khanna as head of Private Banking for South East Asia effective September 1, 2016 in a statement today.

Khanna left Pictet in October of 2015. Prior to joining Pictet, Khanna was based in Hong Kong for five years with Credit Suisse Private Banking where he held the roles of head of private banking, North Asia and chief operating officer for Asia Pacific.

Before joining Credit Suisse Khanna, who is a citizen of Singapore, had worked for UBS, where he was regional head for the now defunct core affluent business segment for Asia Pacific. He began his banking career with Citibank in India.

finews.asia reported that Pictet had replaced Khanna in Singapore with Dominique Jooris in July 2016.
