Wealth Management Movers in Asia

A summary of the most recent hires in Asia’s wealth management hubs of Singapore and Hong Kong by major banks and financial services firms.

RBC Wealth Management

Toronto headquartered Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management has hired Tam Chun Him from UBS. Based in Singapore Tam will work with RBC’s ultra wealthy clients.

Standard Chartered

After more than two years in the role, Christian Mueller has stepped down from his position with Standard Chartered Private Bank as Global Head of Investment Advisory in Singapore. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Mueller was Head, Investment Advisory, Asia, at Swiss pure play Julius Baer.

Insurance Move

International Planning Group (IPG), the high net worth life insurance broker, has appointed a new deputy CEO for Asia. Peter Tsih, formerly CEO Hong Kong for Willis Towers Watson, Charles Monat Associates, will take up the new role with IPG in April, where he will report to Jim Kelso, CEO Asia. Tsih will be based in Hong Kong

Citi Private Bank

Stewart Boag has joined Citi Private Bank from Deutsche Bank Wealth Management as Senior Private Banker in February.

The platinum coverage team works closely with clients with more than $250 million of net worth. Prior to the move Boag was Director and Team Head for Australia at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. He will be based in Singapore.
