A senior private banker at JP Morgan in Singapore, Harjeet Singh, has left the US firm, this publication can exclusively reveal.
Singh, an executive director at the firm, is a specialist in the India-focused market. Although this publication has heard rumours about where he has gone, it hasn’t been able at the time of going to press to establish his future firm and role, and will update in due course.
A source told this publication that Singh may have gone to Bank J Safra Sarasin in the region, but the bank declined to comment when contacted.
The banker has been at JP Morgan since January 2012, having previously worked at Barclays from April 2008 to December 2011, holding the title of director, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he was vice president and regional head of wealth management at HSBC from 2004 to March 2008, the profile shows.
