Citi is expanding its wealth management business with four new hires.
Danica Hampton joins Citi as head of investment specialists. Prior to this role she was head of currency overlay and solution sales at NAB; and global markets research senior strategist at the Bank of New Zealand.
Simson Sanaphay, meanwhile, has joined the team as a senior investment strategist, focusing on Citi’s high net worth investors. He has held numerous other positions at Citi since 2001, including roles in foreign exchange options and fixed income.
Elsa Ouattara joined in December as a fixed income manager; before that, she was a fixed income and derivatives sales manager at Nordea Markets and a fund analyst at BNP Paribas. She has also held roles at UBS, Societe Generale and Fox News.
Finally, as part of Citi’s knowledge and investment insight program for wealth clients, Damon Frith has joined as content editor. Before this role, he was a senior correspondent with the AFR and has written for BRW Magazine and The Australian.
