Bennelong Funds Management has appointed Carl McMinn to the newly created role of associate account director, investments in order to support its business growth in Queensland.
He would be based in Brisbane and report to Jodie Saw, account director, investments.
McMinn has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined Bennelong from Challenger Limited, where he worked as a business development manager for the past five years.
Prior to that, he was an account manager at Macquarie Bank within the banking and financial services division.
“We have experienced strong growth in the north of Australia, capably led by Jodie over the past five years, and market demand has led to the creation of this new role. It ensures we can maintain a dedicated focus from staff servicing advisers in the market,” said Jonas Daly, head of retail investment sales.
At the same time, Hayley Thomson, an existing team member, was promoted to associate account director, investments. She would be based in Melbourne and focus on servicing the Victorian and Tasmanian markets.
