Mercer has announced the appointment of Michael Armitage as the firm’s new head of investment consulting.
In this role, as part of Mercer’s institutional wealth team, Armitage will lead Mercer’s investment consulting activities in Australia.
Armitage has extensive experience in investment strategy research, portfolio management, institutional investment and asset management product development across the US, UK, Hong Kong and Australia. Most recently, he was director of investment services at Milliman, with responsibility for developing retirement risk-management solutions for retail and superannuation clients.
