In an effort to bolster its coverage of institutional and financial intermediary relationships, including private banks, Capital Group hires a former head of Hong Kong sales from Morgan Stanley’s asset management arm.
Stanley Chan joins the American asset manager as a relationships manager, responsible for expanding Capital Group’s institutional and financial intermediary relationships in Hong Kong. Previously, Chan worked for the likes of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Wellington Global Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
“We will continue to cultivate our deep roots and establish long-term partnerships with our investors and their advisors in Asia,” said Andrew Economos, senior vice president for strategic solutions, Asia.
In the Asia Pacific region, Capital Group has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Mumbai and Sydney with US$17 billion sourced from investors in the region.
