The musical chair of an industry with a shallow talent pool continues as a former fund specialist from DBS Private Bank joins an old employer in HSBC.
Nicol Poon joins HSBC as an investment specialist, believed to be in a similar capacity as when he was with DBS Private Bank.
When contacted the bank could not be reached for a comment.
Most recently, Poon was a fund solution specialists with the Singaporean lender. Previously, Poon worked with HSBC Private Bank for seven years. As of 1023-end, HSBC Private Bank had US$93billion in assets under management in Asia (according to Asian Private Banker’s AUM League Table).
