Vontobel Asset Management (Vontobel) has hired a former Russell Investments investment consultant as senior relationship manager to broaden its institutional client coverage in the Australia and New Zealand regions.
Prior to Russell, Bobby Bostic was director for institutional and retail distribution a Capital Group in Singapore and Sydney. In his new role, he will assist in the growth of Vontobel’s current $9.4 billion in assets under management and advice.
“I am truly excited about joining Vontobel and contributing to further the exceptional growth the team has achieved in the region thus far,” he said.
Vontobel deputy head Jürg Fritschi added: “Our quality growth strategies run out of New York have been very well received by Australian superfunds and institutions. Now it is time to take the next step and demonstrate our long-term commitment to this market by expanding our footprint into other areas of investment expertise within the group.”
