RBC Wealth Management has hired Juan Aronna as head of discretionary investment management.

Aronna joins the Asian investment and products team in Singapore and reports to Stefan Mueller, head of investments and products at RBC Wealth Management Asia. He was previously head of investment management for Singapore and head of the portfolio management hub for Asia-Pacific at UBS.

Following the news of a recent management reshuffle at the private bank, BSI announces a new head of private banking for Asia.

In a newly-created role, Raj Sriram is BSI Bank’s new head of private banking, Asia, based in Singapore, effective on 2^nd February 2015, in addition to being the bank’s deputy CEO Asia. In his expanded role, he will look at bolstering the bank’s client offering and drive the business in the region. He will report to Hanspeter Brunner, CEO of BSI Asia.

Singapore-headquartered Professional Investment Advisory Services, or PIAS, has appointed Joseph Kwok as deputy general manager and head of product strategy. Kwok has worked in a number of roles at firms including UBS and JP Morgan.

Kwok has more than 15 years of experience within the wealth management industry. He has held senior management roles including executive director with JP Morgan Private Wealth Management; managing director/chief investment officer of Platinum Capital Management (Asia); director, advisory consultant, North Asia, UBS; and head of investments and advisory, wealth management with Standard Chartered Consumer Bank, Singapore.
