Global asset manager BlackRock will see its Asia Pacific Real Estate Research head Michael Klibaner leave the firm this June after working for two years at the firm.

Yarra Capital Management has confirmed the appointment of a new distribution manager along with two other distribution hires.

Judy Britza, joins the boutique asset manager from Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) where she spent 11 years as a key account manager in the firm’s distribution team.

Boutique asset manager BNY Mellon Investment Management has announced Yoshiyuki Shimoyama as the company’s new head of financial institutions group for Japan.

Based in the company’s Tokyo office, Mr Shimoyama will work with a number of insurance companies and banks, reporting to BNY Mellon Asset Management Japan chair and president Shogo Yamaguchi.

Harvest Global Investments (HGI), the Chinese and Asian markets specialist asset manager, has announced senior hires, adding new geographical coverage to its sales and marketing teams. The new hires are part of Harvest’s plans to attract new investors throughout Asia, Europe and US and will support the global expansion of its distribution channels.

BlackRock Australia has strengthened its client services with the appointments of Stuart Dunn as head of wealth distribution for Northern region while Linda Kang has been appointed as lead research relationship manager.

The company said the move followed six appointments made in November and was a part of a strategy to streamline the delivery of client services by integrating BlackRock Australia’s institutional and retail distribution teams.

Sun Life Hong Kong (SLHK) has appointed Fabien Jeudy as its new CEO. He is responsible for overseeing and growing SLHK’s operations, which include life and health insurance, wealth management and an award-winning pensions business in his new position.
