Credit Suisse appoints new market head

An internal email circulated at Credit Suisse Private Bank confirms the appointment of a new market group head for Singapore effective April 1.

Jin Yee Young, currently sector head and deputy market leader for the Indonesia market, will be promoted to market group head for Singapore, reporting to Benjamin Cavalli, market area head Southeast Asia.

Pictet loses IAM head for Asia , splits role

Pictet’s head of independent asset managers has left the bank after three years. The role will now be split to cover Singapore and Hong Kong individually.

Sylvain Gysler has left Pictet, stepping down from his role as the bank’s head of independent asset managers in Singapore.

StanChart Private Bank hires global investment head from Julius Baer

Standard Chartered Private Bank has poached a new global head of investment advisory from Julius Baer as part of a push to build out its wealth management team.

Christian Mueller started in the new role in Singapore on March 9. He had been with Swiss private bank Julius Baer since November 2013 in the same city, most recently as Asia head of investment advisory.
